19th century brown transfer printed large mug. A charming brown transfer printed image of a shepherd and shepherdess embracing next to a flock of cows in a pasture. The same image appears on the front and back of the mug. The interior mug has an ornate scroll and floral motif around the rim. Unmarked. British. Circa 1880.
