Antique Gaudy ironstone platter. This platter has a charming polychrome floral Asian-inspired design with cobalt blue, russet, green and gilt highlights on a white background. It has the number 155 hand written in red glaze on the back (possibly denoting the pattern number). It is otherwise unmarked which is not uncommon for early Gaudy ironstone pottery. English. Circa 1850.
