Antique Japanese Imari plate with urn. A cobalt blue transfer image of an urn with orange coloured flowers is featured in the centre with hand painted floral motifs around the rim in russet, green and blue enamel. It is a footed deep dish plate with a scalloped rim. There are six cobalt blue decorative motifs on the back. Unmarked. Early 20th century.

No chips, cracks or repairs. Minor loss of enamel. There are variances in the glaze commonly found on pottery of this period. This is not considered damage but is noted.
