An early 20th century coffee pot with a hand-coloured transfer printed image of a pheasant perched on a tree with a polychrome floral pattern and green trim around the circumference. A popular and colourful Asian-inspired pattern with an eight panel conical shape against a cream background. Marked with the Lion and Crown Royal Doulton, England mark and with the Rd No’s: 597,785, 659,100, US Patent Rd No: 50,423. The Lion and Crown mark with England was used between 1902-1922.
