Antique single board dough board. A well loved over-the-counter bread or pastry board. Very hard to find a single board as this is clearly an old growth find. Also referred to as a “noodle board.” It has strips of wood added around three of the edges designed to keep the flour on the board. A classic primitive pastry/carving board that was a staple in most early farmhouses. Perfect for placing on a stovetop, used as a tray or for adding a touch of country charm in the kitchen. Found in eastern Ontario. Circa 1900.
Width: 31 3/4″ (80 cm)
Length: 20 1/4″ (51 cm)
Height: 3″ (7.6 cm) at the highest point
The board remains in good used condition.
