Description

Canadian Porcelain Co. grey and white batter jug. This grey and white batter jug (used for pancake or other dough batches) was made by the Canadian Porcelain Co, founded in Hamilton, Ontario in 1912. The company remained in operation until around 1940. A seldom seen and surprisingly modern looking example of Canadian porcelain. Shown next to a larger version in white from the same company for comparison purposes.

Height: 6 3/4″ (17.2 cm)
Width from handle to spout: 8″ (20.3 cm)
Capacity: 1.5 litres/48 ounces (1500 ml)

Condition
Minor inconsistencies in the glaze that took place during the manufacturing process. Overall grey colour with some white porcelain showing through on the handle, around the rim and base. This is not considered damage.  No chips, cracks or crazing. In overall excellent condition.
