Pair of British sterling nut dishes. These dainty oval nut dishes have a pierced body with a graduated bead rim. They are stamped “sterling silver” in block letters on the outside of the piece and are hallmarked on the inside, near the rim, with the maker’s mark: “CSG&Co”, the anchor mark for Birmingham (England), the lion passant mark which signifies British sterling, and the date mark – a Z inside a shield. These marks certify that the nut dishes were produced in Birmingham, England, in 1924 and are made out of sterling silver. Sold as a pair.

Minor scuff marks on the inside at the bottom. Otherwise they are in excellent condition.
