Pair of Fire King Tulip Nesting Bowls with Ivory Coloured Background. From the 1950’s. Each of these cheerful, mid-century mixing bowls is decorated with six stylized tulips in blue pots, three on the front and three on the back of each bowl. The tulips appear in shades of red, yellow and orange, with dark green leaves. Sold as a set of 2 nesting bowls.
The larger bowl has a diameter at the top of 7¾ inches (20 cm) and stands 4¾ inches (12 cm) tall. The smaller bowl has a top diameter of 6½ inches (16.5 cm) and stands 4 inches (10.5 cm) in height.
Both bowls are in very good used condition, with no chips or stains. Some of the leaves on the larger bowl have faint scratches due to use, and two of the blue pots on the smaller bowl are missing colour (see close-up photos).
