Victorian child’s lustre cup and saucer. Circa 1880. This unmarked china cup and saucer has an image of a little girl dressed and bonneted in blue and holding a bouquet of flowers. The image is on a white background inside a gilt-highlighted cartouche. The rest of the cup and all of the saucer are pale pink. This set would be a charming décor accent in a little girl’s room.
Cup: 2½ inches (6.75 cm) tall, 3 inches (8 cm) wide to outside of handle.
Saucer:5 inches (13 cm) in diameter.
Minor wear to gilt highlights; some uneven portions of pink glaze during production (not considered a flaw); otherwise excellent condition.
